Forward facing??

I have my almost 2 year old in a forward facing Graco 4ever all in one car seat... he fits the requirements for forward facing... when did you all put your babies in forward facing? He outgrew his infant car seat so fast

I put my son forward facing just the other day and he will be 3 in a couple weeks. He is 90th percentile for height but he was perfectly fine rear facing until almost 3.

I would definitely double check your state laws. A baby/toddler is safest rear facing for as long as humanly possible. I plan to read face until the limits are maxed out. If she's still rear facing in kindergarten then so be it. Look up videos on YouTube to see what happens in a crash for forward facing babies vs rear facing babies. I'd bet you would go out and turn him back around to rear facing immediately after watching just one video.

in my state the law is 2 yrs old and under MUST be rear facing. I will be keeping my kiddo rear facing as long as possible.

Agree with the others, 2 years I think is the minimum before they can be forward facing. Just because they qualify for forward facing doesn't mean it's the safest. I'll keep mine in rear facing until she hits the maximum height & weight limit. My girl out grew her infant seat early as well & we got a convertible car seat but keep it rear facing until she grows more.

I forward faces my son at 17 months, he meets all the requirements and loves it. I planned on leaving him rear facing until at least 2 but that plan went out the window lol
