I'm currently 34 weeks and 2 days pregnant and went to L&D; for pelvic pain and swollen ankles/feet and ended up being admitted. I'm only 1cm dilated and contractions are still going. I got a steroid shot in my butt cheek! (Wasn't expecting that) I got an IV which wasn't bad going in. Honestly the worst part of everything was getting my cervix checked 😫. I just got into my room. Really didn't think this would happen to me.

Update: Had a terrible time sleeping last night the contractions did become less frequent and actually stopped for a while but they are back again and definitely more intense. I'm supposed to get my second shot of betamethasone later in the afternoon. Baby is doing beautifully and heart beat is good 😊
