Advice on something that happened ?

I am confused if this is normal in a relationship or not.

My ex bf we ended things "thankgod" he was mildly abusive probably because it had just been 1 year.

While we were dating this one time he told me how he wants to have sex but in a form of rape. I got put off because I imagined it but I brushed it off.

Is it normal for a guy to think like that ? At that time I just thought he has extreme fantasies ....

His very possessive dominant extremely jealous and controlling.
