Are you planning on breastfeeding or bottle feeding?

I know sometimes we don't have the luxury of only specifically breastfeeding, but I'm curious as to what you guys will be doing. Personally I want to breast feed but I also want to pump to bottle feed in public (personal choice and I have no issues with women who breastfeed in public) hoping I won't have to use formula.

With my first I was only 20 and I had it in my head that I would breastfeed and pump for public feeds... pumping is such a pain, it was a waste for just out and about. That stuff needed saving for when I needed to be somewhere without the baby! I slowly got more confident when my step dad walked in when I was breastfeeding and didn't notice, it made me realise he couldn't tell at all. My tip for anyone nervous to feed in public (but wants to try) would be to feed in the mirror first, I put a scrappy top under every top and lifted the top top up and the strappy top would cover my tummy/lower boon. Someone else gave me the mirror tip and it did make me relax a lot!

I want to try and breastfeed but i also want hubby to feed baby so i will be pumping and maybe only breastfeed for a couple of days

I'm probably the odd one out but I have zero desire to breastfeed. I will be doing formula only.  I have gone back and forth about it a little but in the end I just know that I don't want to breastfeed. I know it will be more expensive but for me it's the time devoted to it. I already suffer from anxiety and depression and I know that if I isolate myself or struggle with breastfeeding it will make everything 100x worse for me. I also want my husband to participate in feeding just as much as I do. It's sad because I almost feel shamed already just talking to other people and asking what they are going to do and everyone always says "breastfeed of course." Mom shame is real!

with my son I wanted to breast feed so bad but I didn't produce anything at all. My breast went from a Dd before being pregnant to a b. This time I don't think I'm even going to try because I got so upset last time when I couldn't.
