hospital bag?

Okay ladies just curious to know what you are putting in your hospital bags for you? 1st time mom in I wanna make sure im just as prepared for me as I am for my daughter

Check with your hospital on what they provide. I'm in TX and our hospital provided  baby a t shirt, blankets, diapers, wipes and then pads for me along with a drinking cup. I way overpacked for my first pregnancy. I would bring:

- 2 changes of comfy, stretchy clothes for you
- nursing pillow
- phone charger
- extra small bag to take home presents, etc. 
- mini toiletries for shower and teeth
- any baby outfits or blankets you want for them to have their
- snacks incase you or hubby don't want to eat hospital food or have someone bring you something
- hair ties 
- depends underwear (SO much better than the huge pads and mesh panties they give you!)

I know some people bring little goodie bags for the nursing staff too, which I think is sweet!

I enjoyed having a robe and matching nursing nightgowns.  I had a c section so was there for several days and my robe was cute enough to walk around halls and still feel covered.  Socks that you like.  Pillow!  Your own personal care products like shampoo and conditioner, a little makeup and a blow dryer made me feel human on day two, but this may be personal preference.  Nipple cream!  Whatever you want baby to wear but that's about it for baby.  I brought two really pretty swaddles one had a huge pink bow and the other blue to announce the gender since we kept it a surprise!  Our hospital had a professional photographer do a newborn shoot in our room and I was glad to have that as a prop!

Not sure about where you live but my hospital in TN is providing everything we need to go home with other than outfits
