3month old at the beach?

I have a 3month old that has been suffering so much with the summer heat here in Cali; My poor baby gets so fuzzy at home, I have been wanting to take him to the beach but don't know of it's safe to take him I'm a FTM and I'm scared he might pick up something idk of it's ok for him to be in the water....any advice?

We went last month with our 3 month old. I got a little blow up bathtub and filled it with fresh water and put it under the little tent and

she loved that, we put her feet in the water and she also loved that. We just made sure she was in her SPF suit when she was out in the sun, sun hat and got her some baby shades. We also had a tent set up for shade.

We went to Cancun with our three month old. He slept at the beach mostly. It was great :)
