My husband and I have been married for 11 years (we got married super young) & have been waiting to start our family until we did some traveling, began our careers and accomplished other goals of ours. A few months ago we began having the urge to start a family and decided to begin trying this summer. I got off birth control pills in 2015 after being on birth control since I was 17 (was on some form of birth control on/off for 10 years) & since 2015, my menstrual cycle had been super irregular.

In December 2016, I began working with an acupuncturist to help balance my hormones after going to 3 doctors with my concerns about my irregular periods and being ignored by all 3. I tend to turn to holistic, natural more Eastern healing modalities when western doctors don't validate my concerns. My menstrual cycle has regulated since working with my acupuncturist and she's taught me TONS about my body and cycle. I began reading the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and highly recommend it to all TTC.

Anyway, this is my ovulation test from a few days ago. My last menstrual cycle took 51 days so I did not get a period in July. I've been concerned about my fertility. But I'm hopeful now!

Does this ovulation test look positive to y'all? I got so used to seeing negative that seeing this feels unreal. I am hoping to have gotten pregnant! We will see.
