Makena shots?

Am due to start my Makena shots on the 11th I will be over 17weeks anyone take this shot or have taking it that can give me info on it thanks.

I started at 16 weeks, I'm currently 22 weeks today and I hate them, leave lumps in my butt and they hurt, the med is thick and your urine smells just like it ughhh I can't wait until this is over but it'll be so worth it

I started these injections at 16weeks now almost 23weeks! They do sting pretty bad but all worth it ! This is my 4th and delivered my first two at 36 weeks (went into labor with both around 25-27 weeks& was able to stop it, had contractions all thru my pregnancy with my 3rd but no real labor and delivered her at 35 weeks).. so far with this one the contractions started around 19 weeks and was taken off work 2 weeks ago .. ( I'm a nurse and was working 12-16 HR shifts)

I started mine at 16w and will continue until 36w. They go into your butt cheek and sting bc they are an oil based shot. It's once a week. What else would you like to know? 😊 I get them bc I delivered my last son at 34w, they are in theory supposed to help me carry till full term. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
