***UPDATE*** 
After researching and all of your great comments it's definitely a yeast infection! Luckily, I remembered h had a very small smiliar rash when he was newborn and the doctor noticed it very early on in a postnatal appointment and gave me prescription cream fofor yeast infections. I found it(thank goodness I never throw away medicine) began applying 2-3 times daily and giving it lots of air and coconut oil in between and can happily say it's on the mend and looking MUCH better! Thank you everyone for all the great feedback! Imlov this app!

Yeast infection. Have you been leaving him for a long time and his diaper with cream on? That takes a long time to develop that badly. You need to take him to the doctor right away where they can give you medication

My son just had that I made a post of it!!! his wasn't as bad though! right now he is potty training so it's going away but take him to ER his is extensive and will need some cream and air him out as long as possible!

It's a yeast infection. Your pediatrician will prescribe him a cream. Other creams not meant for yeast can actually inflame it more.

Normally when there is little dots like that it's a yeast infection. My daughter just had one and it was living hell. Especially since I didn't know what it was and put off going to the doctor for so long. I'd suggest making an appointment asap before it gets too bad so he can be put on medicated ointment

It's probably a reaction to the diaper. I would throw on some rash cream and switch brands.
