My SO father pass away early hours Wednesday morning (he didn't really have a close relationship with him) he didn't know how to take it, anyway this morning he got woke up by his nan banging the door (as she always does early morning everyday) I did not open it as he said he didn't want to talk to anyone, he got up in a strop an said I'll open the door shall I. He came back to bed an left her down stairs on her own an turned to me an said you can deal with her as I'm not.. I replied I'm not very well (have kidney problems what are very painful) an i don't really want to go down yet, he then made a comment about his dad so I got up an then told him I'm not putting up with this an that its you're nan an she's came to see you an how you are. He got up an was angry an started shouting at me an then shouted in my sons face how horrible of a child he is (he's a 4 year old) he came running to me crying I told him its okay bcoz you're not then I turn to my SO told him to get the f**k out. I then went in the kitchen an my son an his nan made us all a drink. Then his nan said she has to go back an if it was okay to go up to him I said yes, she came back down an said he's gone at this point I wasn't bothered I was still so mad.. anyway he came back at 4 pm got some thing an didnt say anything to us an left. I understand he's lost his dad an he's feeling lost an hurt but what was the news to have a go at us. Have I done the right thing or am I being horrible..?
