Middle name or double first name?

Question

We have decided on a name for our little girl. I have always needed to have Grace as part my child's name to honour my grandmother, so we have decided on Mia Grace.
Now the tricky part.
We LOVE the way it sounds together, as one name. We know lots of  people with "double first names" and I really love this option. 
What does everyone think? 
Have Mia-Grace as the first name or just Mia with Grace as the middle name?

My husband has a "double" first name legally. It screws him every chance it can. 
Most companies, entities and places just don't know what to do with double names so it either gets cut off, jammed into one huge name, or they can't "find" him in a search. All our bills have different variations of his name and it drives him insane! 
I would just call her both but legally have one first and one middle name.

I personally prefer it as a middle name, although I don't think it sounds bad as two first names either

I know in my case it wasn't something I'd ever thought of. When I was pregnant with my son (before knowing he was a boy) I picked out the name Ava Jayne, now I'm pregnant with twins and wanted to name one of the babies that (if it was a girl) - one of my very close and best friends committed suicide in April and in honor of her I am making her first name the middle name for my daughter. So I'm thinking Ava-Jayne Christine. It's kinda long but it flows nicely(:

I think either way you're going to have to make the effort to correct people. On the one hand, we did the first and middle name but we want him called by both (so does he, he's 5) but in papers etc only his first name shows up so we have to tell his teachers etc to use both names. My husband feels in hindsight we should have used both as his first name. But I have a girl friend with a double first name and people try to cut the second name and she corrects them as well.

No hyphen, it will always be an issue on legal docs. I'd have Grace be the middle name, but just always say it together.  My birth name was Jennifer Lee (Lee being my middle name) and my mother always called me Jennifer Lee growing up.

I have 2 first names and it can be pretty annoying. A lot of times people will drop the Ellen and just call me Mary which I hate. i also dont have a hyphen and people will try to include one. I had to fight with the DMV to include my first and middle name on my license. My mom has the same name as I do except hers is first and middle name but she goes by Mary Ellen so I need my middle name included on everything to differentiate between the 2 of us.
