Bringing 3 month to the pool?

My baby girl is almost 3 months old. My family is having a pool party at their house tomorrow. (Pool is heated) When is it ok to put my baby's feet in the pool?!

I say that if she can hold her own head up you can put her in water. Some parents don't realise but the sooner you introduce baby to water the better chance they have to catch the concept of swimming and they learn to not panic if they were to fall in at a later time.

Where I'm from kids start going to pools as early as 1-2 months depending on their moms. As long as they are healthy, and you trust the pool is clean there us really no issue unless you forget sunscreen.

Just be careful with the sun. Babies shouldn't wear sunscreen until 6 months 😊

I took my baby in the pool at 4 months. I just didn't keep her in there long, about 20 mins. She loved it though! She was kicking and smiling.

I hold my baby in the pool and she loves it. The only thing is you can't use sunscreen that young so I use a swimsuit with rashguard and hat, they also sell floaties with a hood. If she's in for just a few minutes it's okay. If it's a chlorinated pool wash her right after.

We have a pool, I probably will take him in sooner than 3 months. So I'd say 3 months sounds good to me :)
