What should I expect?

Back in February I had the arm implanted and I got it taken out in June due to constant heavy spotting everyday. Along with that I had been prescribed BC pills to try and help the bleeding but it didn't work. I stopped BC all together in June. My DR prescribed me the same pills that I was on before but I don't wanna take them because of the side affects and she insists that since I took a break from them the side affects should clear up and I'll have minimum spotting and I'll be fine. But I just don't know.... has anyone ever stopped there pills and went back on it and saw a different result in how it made them feel??
