A hymen can tear during daily activities such as riding a bike, riding a horse, using a tampon, if you fall a certain way ect. So yes it's possible to tear your hymen  while masturbating.

Yes, but it doesn't mean youre not a virgin. Candace already explained, you can tear it from anything. I've actually never torn mine. It can just stretch
