Water births?

Wondering what everyone's experiences are with water birth vs bed birth. 
Stories please! Recommendations.... etc

I labored in the birthing pool for a very long time bad it was amazing. It definitely helped me relax and eased some of the pain. I ended up having some bad back pain so I eventually had to lay in the bed as that's what was comfortable at that moment. So I gave birth on the bed and it was fine. I'll probably try a full water birth next go around.

for my first I went in it at 8cm dilated and I was I  there for ages pushing so they took me out. And for my second I went in at 8cm and finally got to give birth in the water 😊 it does feel so much better. it's just the awkward walk out of it with the cord still hanging out of u 🙈 me and my bf laughed about afterwards lol x

I labored in the tub for a long time. It was great! The midwives didn't really want me in it for my birth, for some reason. So, they heated it uncomfortably so I would get out. I believe they felt I'd been in there too long and needed to get out to further progress. I am not even a little upset that I gave birth in the bed (almost on a birthing stool). My daughters birth went smoother and better than I'd hoped.
