something sticky on apple?

so there was like some brown sticky spot on my apple.. like syrup or something.. so i wipe it off thinking somehow we got something on it???? and so i bite into where that stuff was and there's a hole right there... 🤔🤔🤔 im kind of disgusted and want to know what's going on

Maybe a worm or something. Honestly, there are so many gross things we eat on a regular basis without even knowing it, don't freak yourself out :) nothing to stress over

Your Apple probably got bruised and started to decay. They turn brown, and they produce a syrup and a hole where it happened. That, or it was some kind of bug. Either way, you won't get sick, and it happens.
