One Angry Mama
I gave my daughter a bath this morning and as soon as I'm done rinsing her hair I notice a tiny bug in her hair. Low and behold it's a louse. My daughter is only 8 months old. Ever since my sister-in-law, her husband, and their kids moved out we haven't had any issue's with lice. However, last weekend our nieces and nephew spent the night. I wouldn't be so mad, but them children keep lice. Their parents want to blame it on the school. I personally blame it on them for not properly treating it in the first place. To me it's pure laziness. I already went through my daughter's hair and picked all the nits out. Luckily she doesn't have thick hair. Now I have treat my head. Not easy when you are breastfeeding and most lice treatments have pesticides. Any other mama's having to deal with this or have in the past? Anything you would recommend to make the process easier?
