18th birthday celebration

I always thought about renting a hall and throwing a party with some friends. An elegant, modern, comfortable place, a DJ, a dance floor, some food, drinks.

There are 5 months left until my 18th birthday and well, I don't know what to do because I didn't realize I don't actually have friends. I can't hold a party if I have no one to invite.

The only option I have is celebrate it with my boyfriend. To do something special with him. He will still be a minor by the time I turn 18... Is it a problem if we organise a little trip then?

Do you have any other ideas?
