changing elastic

so I need to change the elastic on some of my bum genius diaper and I heard it's hard too though from some people, I'm worried about messing it up so does anyone know if I can possibly take it somewhere to get it done? I don't really mind if I have to do it myself but doesn't hurt to ask!
