Is it common to get intimate with a S.O after fighting/ before breaking up??

I'm beating myself up about it now but maybe we need some kind of release? It definitely wasn't too intimate or serious and happened naturally but I keep thinking I shouldn't have complicated things like that? Though he did too...? Ahh any wise words? ✨

It's common in my house.  My SO and I fight and within hours we are doing it.  He says he loves make up sex and I kinda do too.  We are actually kinda rough with each other but then when it's all over we just fall into each other's arms and are far more calmer to talk things through.  I think many couples go through this.. there are a dozen good movies about couples who have a one last jump in the sack or break up sex lol so it must be pretty common.  If it's bothering you that you did it talk to him and explain that to him.   For me it actually brings us closer.  My SO always says he forgets why he's mad in the first place lol.

Maybe it was just the tension you both needed to release. Nothing is complicated unless you make it complicated so talk about it and figure out what it meant
