Water birth?

Question

Due in about 5 weeks and opting for a water birth. Ladies, id love to hear some of your experiences, trying to convince my boyfriend that everything will be okay!

I labored for hours in a birthing pool. It really helped me. It took away some of the intense contraction feelings and I feel like it's just a whole lot better than laying in a bed or walking around. It was great for me. Then I started to get back pain and laying down on the bed was what was most comfortable. So I gave birth in the bed. The whole experience was pretty good though. You basically just have to take things minute by minute. What you expected to work and be comfortable might not actually be. You'll only know until you do it. But I'll be trying for a water birth with my next baby. The water feels so good lol.

I had a home water north for my first baby and it went so well. 😊 it hurt like a mother but all so worth it. It feels so good to labor in the water. I'm doing it again for my second! It was so peaceful
