Anatomy scan?

Hey all,
Just need some quick advice! If there's any medical people here, your input would be greatly appreciated as well!!
So I'm 21 weeks right now, will be traveling back home at about 24 weeks. I'll b delivering there as well. My question is, should I just get the anatomy scan done back home or would that be too late?? If I wait until I go back home..i may be able to get it at 24 weeks or maybe a week later. Would that be okay or too late? 
The current country i am in, I have been very dissatisfied with the ultrasounds I've gotten so far. Also, I don't have insurance here so it is quite costly. 
What should I do?

They generally prefer to do it between 18-22 weeks due to baby size but it's your baby and your body. If you'd rather wait and get it done at home at 24 I'd say book the appt now so you know you have it as early as you can get it. It's not like they won't be able to do it once the time passes. If you're not worried about baby I don't think it's that big of a deal to wait.

I'd do it earlier in your current country. You could always do a repeat when back home?

I got mine at 20+5 and they had to repeat 5 weeks later anyway. I'd call with whatever doctor you're planning to go to to be certain, but I think it'd be okay.

If you are in another country they may have you re do it anyway when you get here. I'd call the OB you plan on using and see what they think would be best. Make sure you let them know your concerns about your past ultrasounds
