That's how I always imagined it. Like similar to the pressure and feel of taking a huge shit but obviously more painful. For the Mamas that know, is that what it feels like. Unmedicated or medicated.

Yes!! With both my kids it felt like that, like when your body naturally pushes to get poop out.

Tons of pressure! I had an epidural and although I did not feel pain, I still felt tons of pressure to push. It was somewhat uncontrollable and the pressure increased with each contraction. Pushing in each contraction also is extremely effective in the baby being delivered quicker.

No, it feels like a bunch of pressure and is painful. But it doesn't feel like going to the bathroom.

Yes!! It feels like you have to take a poop the size of a watermelon!! I asked for an epidural at 8cm. Took them almost 2 hours to give it to me and it did absolutely nothing for all that pressure! Which was the reason I wanted it in the first place 👎🏻
