Embarrassed to ask 😓

Has anyone ever had hemorrhoids? I'm noticing its been harder for me to poop lately. Sometimes it comes out soft and sometimes I have to strain myself. Well, about 3 months ago I noticed skin hanging from my anus. It's like I can pinch it and it's pink in color. I scared myself looking on google because all kind of "anal cancer" information popped up when I put in my symptoms. So I guess my question would be if you had hemorrhoids before, what were your symptoms and does it sound like my symptoms could be hemorrhoids? I only have blood in my stool when I strain and it's bright red when I wipe.
