How would you describe the role of a step mom? My boyfriend has a three years old daughter and I know her since she is 18 months but I would like to be a better step mom and not a substitute parent (wich I feel like I am actually). I like her but not as much as my unborn daughter, we used to have a great relationship but since last January our relationship has changed and I feel overwhelmed when Im with her... I don't know why it has changed, I wish it didn't but I just want our family to be happy but I don't know how to get it right now.. (she lives with her mom we see her 2 weekends by months). I feel like if I would have the good step mom attitude it would all get better and live more happy with the new baby to come.
