Did my epidural work?
Was my epidural effective if I had full motion and control of my legs? Every nurse that came in to "help" me reposition commented on how much motion I had. I could still feel my contractions although they weren't nearly as strong once the epidural started. I'm just wondering was it really working if I wasn't completely numb like other women say.
When my baby was crowning I felt like I was going to rip in half. The pain was so severe I wanted to die. Is it normal to feel all of that even with an epidural?
Anyone else have an epidural but still have full range of motion with their legs? Please share your experience.
Here's the poll question:
So, does it sound like my epidural worked? I'm wondering if it was ineffective because I know it's a possibility.
