Labor coming soon?

So a couple days ago I lost my mucus plug and I was certain it had to be all of it .. NOT !! Last night I was really crampy, felt like I had to poop, and I was having contractions(not close enough to call my midwife) .... the thing is this morning I went to the bathroom it literally felt like something came out of me and when I wiped sure enough it was mucus, but this time it had a tinge of blood in it, im still really crampy and have the 'poop' feeling, along with a contraction here and there.. Has any other mothers experienced this before going into labor??
