30 and TTC

Has anyone been trying for at least 6months and asked their husbands to go get everything checked out? I had a physical and full bloodwork 3 months ago and everything came out in the normal range. I just want to know if that is a legitimate request so we know we are both ok or our odds are less? Thanks for any feedback.
