Should I try Almond milk?

My baby girl won't drink cow milk at all! I would put it on a sippy cup but spits it out.  I use sippy cups because she isn't used to using bottles. I breastfed her.. so now I'm trying cows milk. Should I try Almond milk or like a 50/50 (Almond/cows milk)?

My lo has a dairy allergy and her doctor put her on almond milk. I didn't think she was getting enough protein or fat because she was drinking it like crazy and never getting full, so we are slowly switching her to Ripple which has 8 grams of protein and is dairy free.

Have you tried warming it up? My son refused cows milk at first and then I warmed it up one day just to room temperature and he drinks it no problem now!

Talk to your child's doctor before giving any nut milks or soy that are store bought.. they are generally full of thickeners that are NOT healthy - like carageenan and guar gum.

Homemade almond, coconut etc, a much healthier option, but asking your child's doctor is important.

I would just give her almond milk 🤷🏻‍♀️ do some research and compare it to cows milk. It's also super easy to make yourself

You should be slowly introducing her to cows milk. They won't drink it if they're not used to it. Mix it with your breast milk and increase by an ounce every few days

We mix sometimes because she refuses cows milk at times. She still gets breastmilk too. It not as much as my supply Has drastically dwindled. As long as you are making sure she's getting healthy fats throughout the day and a balanced diet -avocado, fish, cheeses- you should be fine. Our girl loves milk in a cup through a straw... the best way for us to get her to drink it. Good luck.

My doctor said no. I'm under orders to mix what baby girl is used to with whole milk until we get to 100% milk.
