what would you do?!

this isn’t super controversial but definitely had an argument over it w someone!!

the situation:

you get to the check out at a clothing store and have 3 items. while the cashier is checking you say “oh hey can you take off that first top? i changed my mind about it. So Sorry.”

she takes it off the total but forgets to remove it from the bag. this store is 3 hours away from where you live and you don’t notice she forgot till you get home. do you....

take it back. duh

keep it. their loss.

call and explain.

anything else? super curious what someone else would do in this situation.
