I'm throwing my own! Lol I'm delegating tasks but no way, I am too much of a control freak, I should pick what I want for my shower my girlfriends just told me to tell them what I needed help with!

My mom is hosting it but I'm gonna pay for everything. People in my family are always complaining about money so I just told her to let me know what the cost is so I won't have to hear the complaints 🤷🏾‍♀️

Usually someone else throws it?  I've never heard of anyone throwing their own, hopefully someone close to you offers!  Maybe they are planning a surprise shower?

Well idk how you do it but for me my church friends put it on 8-10 wks before due date and all I have to do is make a baby registry and show up! It wouldn't seem right for u to pay for it!

Generally whoever is hosting the party is the one who pays for it so I'm hoping someone is throwing the party for you!
It could be a costly exercise for them dependant on how many guests you have and also when it's on (e.g. Is it a morning tea, lunch time, dinner etc). When I hosted my sisters baby shower a few years ago there were 40 guests so catering lunch cost a fair bit (plus all the games/props etc) but it was so worthwhile and I made sure she had a wonderful day.  
Sadly I won't be having my own baby shower as my family are all 950kms away interstate and I'm still relatively new to my area and have no friends here 😭. Maybe I'll be lucky to have one when baby number 2 comes along down the track!

If you're throwing your own baby shower, then you'll probably have to pay for it too. If someone else is throwing it, likely they'll let you know if they need help funding it.
