Scared to death

I miscarried on July 7 (D&C;) was that day. I've had one period since then and AF would be due next Monday. I just took a First Response which showed none or very faint lines when I squint and First Response Digital said YES. I am scared either way. Is it possible it's a false positive?? Would my body still have HCG??
