Do you think instead of waiting until students are in high school they should start teaching sex ed sooner? I didn't get to take a sex ed class until 10th grade when it was an optional elective, not even manditory. And sex ed pretty much was just identifying parts of genitals and learning about the different stds. But sadly by 10th grade girls in my class were already pregnant. I feel that sex ed should be mandatory and taught during 7th or 8th grade which might seem young to some but girls are getting pregnant at 13 and 14 and my old English teacher who was apart of the school board told me students in elementary school were caught sexting on their school ipads which BLOWS MY MIND!!!

I just feel that if sex ed was taught sooner it would result in less teen pregnancies because people would actually be educated. But id love to hear any arguments for or against it so please leave it in the comments!!!
