At 36w I was dialated to a 3, and 60% effaced. At my 38 week appointment I was dialated 4cm and 80% effaced. Doc said it'd be a slight chance to make it to my due date! But, I've only been having random contractions everyday since then, and they're light, not really painful. I'm 38 weeks and 6 days now, and my next appointment is tomorrow. At my appointment tomorrow at 39 weeks would it be okay to have my membranes stripped?! It'd be fine for the baby to come any time now, I just want to know if stripping would speed things up, and by about how much? How bad does it hurt? Thanks ladies😊😊
