Jehovah's Witness

My mom is a SAHM and my house and family has been overcome with JW. I am currently living at home with my parents because I was welcoming the extra help with a newborn baby but im at the point where I'm about to explode. The don't celebrate holidays birthday, anything! I will not have my daughter raised this way which is why I'm moving asap. But I wonder if anyone else has gone through this.

My cousin who is 18 recently hooked up with a girl and has since then been "banished" half of my family cannot talk to him until a certain date and he must beg to be back in good graces with these people. I was raised a baptist and I don't feel like doing something wrong should result in you being left alone to feel like shit. This "religion" cult is tearing my family apart. I want to say something to my mom but I'm scared. I want my normal family back and I don't want my daughter feeling like celebrating her birthday is something to be ashamed of. Help!
