My son is 3 weeks and I've been pumping for about 2, firstly to top up feeds as he wasn't gaining enough and now I'm continuing by choice (I don't have the energy to constantly feed him as he's a big baby and very demanding, it's much quicker than ebf and he falls asleep after about 5 mins on the boob anyway) Everyone has told me how much easier it is to just ebf and that I need to try to stick it out but I honestly have no desire to now, this is much easier for me and I'm much happier knowing exactly what he's getting each feed. I just don't understand the judgement I'm getting, and wondering if anyone else has experienced this too? Also, being told its basically impossible to exclusively pump for 6-12 months is messing with my confidence, even though I know this decision is right for me.
