Question about Preeclampsia

Kayla

I am 36 weeks +3 and yesterday I went to my doctor for my weekly check up. She was concerned that my blood pressure was too high so I was sent to the hospital to be monitored. At the hospital I was told my pressure was still too high so I had to stay overnight and do a 24 hour urine sample. At my highest my BP was about 150/101 and lowest about 132/73. I think overnight my BP went lower but I cannot recall the numbers. I've asked the nurses what these varying numbers mean and I'm not getting many answers. They said they will test my urine tonight and the doctor will talk to me then. Has this happened to anyone else? Can I have preeclampsia even with varying levels of blood pressure? I've had terrible swelling in my legs and feet, headaches here and there, brain fog, and dizziness, but as I am a ftm I chalked it up to just being pregnant. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks!
