When would I start Pointe

I don't know if there's a lot of ballerinas her but I thought this place would be the we're the answer would be the quickest. Anyway I decided to quit soccer after 7 years of doing it and now am starting ballet (age 14). I'm not planning to go pro I just like the pointe work and the dancing. My question is that how long would it take to get onto pointe, in willing to be patient and give it my all. Also would soccer have any effect on starting ballet?

I know that it's different for when starting young and older but I kinda just wanna know.
