Advice please...

So I'm in college and I am dating this guy and I'm really into him. We like to have fun and makeout and what not, but we are also able to just chill and talk for hours. After our latest make out session when hands got a lot more "involved" I found myself feeling sad or almoat guilty after he left, but I have no idea why. I also kept thinking of my cheating ex. Does anyone have any advice or even just a 2 cents to put in?
