Short backstory.. my husbands daughter lives in GA bc her step father is in the military. Her mom and dad are from AR. Her dad and I are still in AR. We only see her for major holidays and 6 weeks over the summer. My husband facetimes with her almost nightly (when her mother picks up the phone) so tonight she starts talking about how her daddy likes grapefruits. And my husband asks her who? And she says, "josh, my other daddy". So my husband at this point gets upset and tells her that she only has one daddy and it's him. I feel like he has every right to get upset. There's no way in hell her mother would be ok with her calling me mommy so why does she think that's ok?! I guess I just want to get others thoughts and opinions. I'm so heartbroken for my husband. 💔
