How do I get my baby to like a sippy cup!?!

My son turned 11 months yesterday and I've offered a sippy cup to him since he was about 5 months old. He has gotten better with one.. but normally he only will take the tiniest sips of water at a time and then throw the cup off his high chair. We've tried a few different kinds too. I've even tried giving him his formula in one and he wouldn't have it. Any advice?

My little guy is 11 months old and hasn't really gotten the hang of a sippy cup, but absolutely LOVES using cups with straws. He is so proud of himself when he can drink from the straw, so I would recommend trying that? Maybe you would have more luck!

I did the munchkin 360 and tried it with water for a few weeks and he finally got it but then he learned to flip the flap and it would come pouring out! I just recently got the munchkin cup with a weighted straw and again tried with water for a couple days and he finally got the hang of it and proudly sips out of it like a champ! We did have to practice with the straws you get from restaurants, they are easier to suck out of since the silicone ones are a little harder to get the liquid through the straw for a little one that's learning.

I got him the 360 trainer cup and at first he didn't like it but he loves it now and holds it on his own.

We went through like 10 different types until we found what works best for our daughter. She really like this one because she has to bite it. She bites everything 😬 she only drinks water out of it though. Will not drink formula, I think it's because she wants it faster? 🤷🏻‍♀️ good luck finding one that works for you
