I'm almost 6 weeks PP (5 days shy) and me and my SO want to have sex badly but I wasn't sure if I should wait or if it would be okay to go for it

wait , it's not just the hoohah that has to heal... it's mostly the place where the placenta attached that has yo heal... sex too early and you'll bleed internally

I did it 2 weeks in. first was vaginal delivery and my second was csection with twins. you will be fine.

I was told it would be fine if I felt ready and was done bleeding! We started at about 5 weeks PP and I was completely fine. But side note, I didn't really tear or have any complications with my birth! Just call your doc and see what she says!

It's really all about how you feel and if you've stopped bleeding. Every woman is different. We tried 5 weeks PP and it was painful but ok. Just make sure you're really careful and going slow.

I saw my midwife at 4 weeks and was healed but she told to wait till I was completely done bleeding. That wasn't until 6 weeks. Definitely wait till you're cleared.. we all heal differently. I also had no tears.

more about when you feel ready. if you are worried about it call your doctor. if it was your own doctor that delivered your baby then they should be able to tell you if you should wait but generally if you had a normal vaginal birth you should be okay when you feel up to it.it's your body you know more about it then anyone else
