Boyfriend too busy to hang out

So I've been seeing this guy for a while, and he's been super busy with his company and invention and stuff. So busy, that I haven't seen him for almost a month, and it's normally weeks between hangouts. When he has a smidge of free time, he's too tired to hang out. Then I found out that he's also been busy going to weddings. I am also always the one to start the conversation. When I've said something about it, he assures me that he's still interested, just busy. I think it's weird and it makes me sad; what do y'all think?
