How is your baby doing with puréed/baby food?

My baby boy loved the sweet potatoes. Tried green beans tonight and he hated them 😂. How is yalls little ones living the veges? I didn't like veges as a child and I really want baby boy to like them bc they are so good for you!

My daughter has eaten EVERYTHING given to her 😂 Carrots, peas, green beans, corn, sweet potatoes, apples, peaches, bananas, butternut squash, pumpkin, pizza crust, muffin, ect. She really likes wheat toast in the morning with apple sauce or sweet potatoes purée on top (make my own baby food, eat cheaper and very easy!)

I've been steaming and puréeing everything myself so far. He's had banana, apple, zucchini, green beans, sweet potato, butter nut squash, avocado, and carrot. He HATED carrot but really loved everything else! He'll be 6 months next Monday.
I've been trying to go by the book to a T, however yesterday I gave him 3 tastes of my hummus 😳🤣 He was fighting tooth and nail to get to it and he LOVED IT!!!

so far we've done potatoes, sweet potato, brocoli, peas, courgette, parsnip, butternut squash, pears, apples, bananas, plums, strawberries, blueberries, porridge and baby rice, he's loved it all. I've just bought some lentils dor him to try. He also love cucumber to teeth on, and destroys baby biscottis and rusks. My baby is a food monster :) his 6 months a week tomorrow so then I think we'll introduce more finger foods and some steamed chicken :)

Kids are funny. My daughter who is 22 months old has always been super picky. The only things she consistently eats are eggs and strawberries. My 6 month old son basically eats everything he can get his hands on maybe its because he's a big boy. This morning he was trying to eat a magazine lol. Just keep trying new foods carrots is usually a pretty safe veggie to try. My sons absolute favorite is pureed turkey with veggies. He hates apple sauce.

We've tried banana, pear, sweet potato and pumpkin and she's loved them all. I tried her on some mashed mango yesterday, though, and she wasn't a fan. So because she ate none of that I offered her some of my mashed pumpkin at dinner time and she didn't like that either, which was odd considering she loved it puréed, so I think she just isn't keen on the mashed texture yet. Oh well, we tried. Will revisit the mashes after a few more weeks 😊

My daughter loves peas and sweet potato! Bananas are also a big hit. She's not too sure about carrots but other than that I think she's just happy to eat something other than milk 😂 she's  taken to everything we've tried really well.

Maybe try making the veggies at home fresh ? The pre made veggies suuuuck. Homemade always tastes better.
