I got a mirena at 6 wks pp so it is a bit different; stopped bf at 8 mo pp and got my sorta period after 6 weeks. I was told my period won't be the same and it isn't

Mine came back at 6 months PP and I was still EBF. I didn't have another one after that until 9 months PP, but since then it has been regular. We are still breastfeeding, though, so I'm not sure if that's even helpful 🤷🏼‍♀️
