So this might make me a shitty partner, but I have absolutely no idea what to get my boyfriend for his birthday. Any suggestions? What'd you get your partner?

He doesn't drink or anything so nothing alcohol related, I know some music he likes and he plays drums and loves to cook. He likes sports like football, basketball and baseball, but idk anything about them so idk how to select a sports jersey or anything... I was thinking about getting him a record of a band he likes or he told me about this book he wanted to read but couldn't find. I just don't know if that would be a good gift for his 24th bday. I know what sneakers he likes but I'm a little short on money at the moment. We're in a LDR and I'm not exactly able to visit him btw. Help please.

*update: so I asked him if he could have anything right now, this is a list in order of what he said: you, your pussy, fried chicken, lasagna and baked ziti, a $5,000 drum set, tattoos, money to pay off his debt...I said I couldn't get him any of those expensive things and all I wanted to do was get him something for his birthday. So he said "oh okay, I want socks and underwear", so it looks like he's getting socks and underwear for his birthday LOL
