So I will admit I'm a fairly lazy person when comes to grooming. I don't really care to shave all the time, it's MY body so who cares. I'll go a few weeks at a time without shaving my legs/underarms without shame. 🤷‍♀️

My razor went dull a couple of weeks ago so I hadn't shaved anything. 🙈 So I finally decided to go buy a new razor and you all know

Anyways, my boyfriend and I were laying on the couch together and he was caressing my legs (like he usually does). And he says to me, "Oh you shaved?"

I said, "Yup finally gave in to society, it feels so smooth huh?" (I meant this in a very sarcastic manner lol)

he said, "Aw I miss the hair I liked how it felt."

I was naturally taken aback because I know so many men who think it's "its so nasty yada yada" 🙄 and asked him, "So you actually prefer my hairy legs over my smooth legs?"

And this where my little feminist heart pitter pattered, he answered me, "Kind of, it's you in your most natural human state, how can I not love all your real beauties? But your smooth legs are nice too, but it doesn't matter what I think because ultimately it's your choice."

Ugh I love him. I just think it's also so amazing how times are changing and these grooming ideals are bypassing for women and it's being more reminded that it's HER choice how she wants to live. And that if she wants do any hair removal or not, it's for HER and not society's or a man's comfort.

Just thought I'd share this, not because I think my man is a unique gem but proving that times are changing and I'm so happy to be living to see it.
