Is there a big possibility that my general STI and herpes test was wrong? I tested negative. I didn't get tested during an "outbreak" but I'm still very irritated and there seem to be sores (just irritated red spots that bleed) and sex is painful. Doctor said it could be that I don't have enough estrogen so she upped the dosage in my birth control. But is there a big possibility that the STI test was wrong? Or should I wait until pack two of this birth control to see if anything goes away?
