Which boy name? First/Middle

Question

Which name do you like best ? My husbands first name is Shawn and it's tradition in his family to give first born son the dads first name as a middle. I don't like Shawn as a middle name but might be able to convince him to give the baby David for a middle name instead.

Elijah Shawn is hard to say. And Silas is such an evil spirit name. Eek. I can't believe Justin Timberlake did that to his son. Please don't do that to yours. Grayson is a good name and goes he's with Shawn out of all of these. I don't like the name Shawn either but yah a middle name is whatever. My son's middle name is Matthew. I don't like t but it's my brother in laws name and he was so honored that we did that. So I was like cool 👍🏻.

We have the same tradition in my husband's family, and are having the hardest time finding a name we like to go with Christopher as a middle name. I talked with his mom and mentioned our problem and she said she didn't even expect us to keep the tradition on (even though it's been 3-4 generations) and that we could name him whatever we wanted! So if you really don't want Shawn as a middle name, maybe consider asking how important the tradition is to your family :)

I really dislike the name Shawn, and kind of grimaced with each name. I LOVE Grayson, and think it would sound lovely with David.
