I've been back on here for 0.2 seconds, I know but I need all your thoughts, yeah?

So James (my partner) had a compulsory work event today, that involved strippers. I'm fine with porn, but I believe strippers are for single people. I'd be open to seeing them with him, but in my eyes it's cheating if you see them without your partner.

He's a dickhead and won't listen to me explain why I'm mad/angry. I don't want to throw away 3 years over strippers, but this is going to be a problem every single year we're together. I don't wanna tell him he can't go, I don't wanna be that girlfriend, especially because his mother already says less than desirable things about me, and he works with his dad so I don't wanna make it awks for them.

Idk what to do, I've already given up a big moral of mine for him (I wanted to wait until marriage but temptation is a bitch 😩) and I shouldn't give up another.

We agreed to no strippers when we first turned 18.

Because everyone is asking: he's an apprentice spray painter at his dads panel beating business. They have some compulsory event every year where they watch football & strippers. It's fucking stupid IMO. If he wants a naked girl while he watches the footy I'm more than happy to take my clothes off and watch it with him.
